October 1st | Welcome dinner: Please arrive at 990 N Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. We will be boarding promptly at 4:30 PM. We’ll be spending four hours aboard the California Princess boat, enjoying heavy apps, drinks, and a beautiful evening on the water! We’ll also have an open mic for anyone who would like to share a few words, stories, or a toast to the couple.
October 2nd | Wedding day: Please arrive at Kona Kai San Diego Resort, 1551 Shelter Island Dr, San Diego, CA 92106 by 3:30 PM. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by cocktail hour at 4:30 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, with dancing and celebrations continuing until 10:00 PM.
After party: Not ready to call it a night? Neither are we! Join us at Vessel Bar, located right at Kona Kai, to keep the celebration going until 1:00 AM!
Travel & stay
Travel: For our out-of-state guests, we recommend flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN). Kona Kai Resort is just a 13-minute drive from the airport, and Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout the area. Parking is available at Kona Kai for those renting cars.
Stay: We recommend staying at Kona Kai Resort (our wedding venue) or one of the nearby hotels on Shelter Island. Other great options include Humphreys Half Moon Inn, The Pearl Hotel, Bay Club Hotel & Marina, and Best Western Plus Island Palms Hotel. If you prefer an Airbnb or vacation rental, we suggest looking in Point Loma, Ocean Beach, or Sunset Cliffs. All are great areas to stay while enjoying San Diego!
Welcome dinner
Come dressed in your best tropical attire! Resort attire is encouraged. We want to see bold colors, playful patterns, and fun, aloha-inspired prints!
We’ll be aboard a boat with both indoor and outdoor spaces, so dress accordingly with comfortable shoes and layers for the evening breeze!

Think eclectic, funky, and fun! We encourage bold colors, playful patterns, and your favorite creative statement pieces. Our dress code is cocktail attire, with formal attire encouraged for those who want to dress it up! Have fun with your outfit while keeping it elegant and wedding-appropriate.
Men: Any color suit with fun ties, bow ties, bold colors, or playful patterns. Tuxedos are welcome but not required.
Women: Mid-length cocktail dresses, floor-length dresses, or formal gowns in fun colors, prints, and textures.
